Supervision on dengue fever prevention in the province

the increasing number of dengue fever cases across province, from 28/7 to
04/8/2022, the Department of Health has organized the inspection team to
supervise the dengue fever prevention in 4/6 localities. On the morning of
04/8/2022, the team set up the field trip to check on the activities of dengue
fever prevention in Bac Binh district.
As of 31/7, the whole
Bac Binh district recorded nearly 520 cases of dengue fever, over 200% compared
to the same period last year, with 17 severe cases. Notably, from middle of
6/2022, the number of new cases has increased sharply. The Health Center of Bac
Binh has monitored and handled the outbreaks; mobilized resources environmental
sanitation. However, the current largest obstacle is the lack of enviromental disinfection
chemicals.
The Health Center and
health stations of the district need to continuously monitor the dengue fever
situation in the area; at the same time, to propose the District People’s
Committee to support the expenditure for dengue fever prevention; timely
handling any outbreak as soon as it occurs./.
