Tanh Linh district to focus on planting the summer-autumn crop 2022

report of the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district showing that currently,
communes and towns in the district are focusing on planting the summer-autumn
crop 2022; promoting the development of livestock and poultry farming.
Accordingly, the
total planted area in the district is 8,500 ha of rice; 900 hectares of corn,
720 hectares of food crops, 185 hectares of peanuts, respectively. Maintaining
the stable area of 27,000 ha of perennial industrial plants and fruit trees,
including 3,917 ha of cashew, 240 ha of pepper, 21,160 ha of rubber and other
fruit trees.
Up to now, the herd
of cattle in the district has 29,900 heads, of which there are 10,200 buffaloes
and cows, increased 700 heads over the same period, reaching 102% of the year
plan; 4,700 goats, increased 200 heads over the same period, reaching 94% of
the plan; 15,000 pigs, increased 2,000 heads over the same period, reaching 75%
of the plan. The total poultry herd is now about 650,000 heads, reaching 93% of
the year plan.
In the coming time,
the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district will continue to monitor the
growth and development of summer-autumn crop 2022, thereby timely detecting
pests and diseases for taking effective prevention. At the same time, to carry
out the work of disease prevention and control on livestock and poultry;
organize vaccination, disinfection and monitoring the situation of African
swine fever in localities.
