Temporarily suspending the cultural activities of Kate Festival at Po Sah Inu Tower

the years, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has coordinated
annually with localities in the province to organize annual traditional
festivals, including Kate Festival at Po Sah Inu Tower.
This year, Kate Festival at Po Sah Inu
tower will take place on October 4 and 5, 2021. However, due to the impact of
the Covid-19 epidemic, in order to ensure safety and efficiency in epidemic
prevention and control, according to the Department of Culture, Sports and
Tourism, the Kate Festival at Po Sah Inu Tower will temporarily suspend the
cultural activities, only organize the rite part with the traditional customs
of the Cham people.
Accordingly, the maximum number of
participants in the rite is not more than 04 religious dignitaries of the Cham
Brahmins of Ham Thuan Bac district (the number of Cham religious dignitaries
participating the rite may increase depending on the changes of the Covid-19
epidemic situation after permitted by the PPC). Cham people, local people and
tourists absolutely are not allowed to come to the worship at Po Sah Inu Tower.
