December 15, the Provincial Women's Union solemnly held the opening ceremony of
the 15th Provincial Women's Congress, term 2021 - 2026. Attending the Congress
on the Central side, there were Mrs. Nguyen Thi Minh Huong - Deputy President
of Vietnam Women's Union. On the provincial side, there was Mr. Duong Van An -
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Minh - Vice Chairman of
Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, agencies
and localities in the province; and 220 delegates who are typical women
representing for more than 240,000 women in the province.
In the last term, the Provincial
Women's Union has completed and exceeded 7/7 targets of the Resolution of the
12th National Congress of Women's Congress and 8/8 of the targets of the
Resolution of the 14th Provincial Women's Congress.

Especially, in the face of complicated
developments of Covid-19, the epidemic prevention and control work was promptly
implemented by the Association at all levels, focusing on propagandizing and
mobilizing members, women and people to take preventive measures in the
community; During the tenure, the Association has developed 21,014 members,
bringing the total number of members in the province to 243,249/435,241 women
in the province.
Addressing the congress, Secretary of
the Provincial Party Committee - Duong Van An emphasized: 2022 and the coming
years are the important period, it will be necessary to control the epidemic
well, thereby making efforts to recover the economy, renewing the growth model
and accelerating development to fulfill the main goals and targets of the term
2020-2025. The Provincial Party Committee Secretary proposed the Congress and associations
at all levels to study, discuss and select fields and contents suitable for
implementation, both generating income to improve the living standards of
members, and contributing to the development of the province.
Clearly stating that human resource
work is a very important task for the Congress, the Provincial Party Committee
Secretary suggested that the delegates attending the Congress to strictly
implement the regulations, using their minds with the spirit of democracy and
responsibility, intelligently to elect the Executive Board of the Provincial
Women's Union, term XV with those comrades who meet criteria and conditions to
perform the tasks and objectives set out by the Resolution of the Congress.
Electing the delegation to attend the 13th National Congress of Women's
Deputies must ensures the delegates satisfied the standards, capable for
absorbing, perceiving and implementing the Resolution of the National Congress
in the locality.
