The 15th session of the Provincial People's Council will take place from July 11-13, 2023

(binhthuan.gov.vn) On the afternoon of July 6, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a press conference to provide information on expected program and time of the 15^th session of the Provincial People's Council (tenure XI), term 2021 - 2026 chaired by Mr. Huynh Van Hung and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Luyen - Deputy Chiefs of the Office of the Delegation of National Assembly and Provincial People's Council. Attending the press conference, there were leaders, reporters of local press agencies and newspapers resident in the province.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council decided to convene the 15^th session of the Provincial People's Council (tenure XI), term 2021 - 2026 from July 11-13 at Hall B – the Provincial Convention Center. The main program of the session is on the socio-economic situation, national defense and security, the judicial fields in the first 6 months and orientations and tasks for the last 6 months of 2023.

The Provincial People's Council will also consider and decide on 5 proposals submitted by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, including: The monitoring program 2024 of the Provincial People's Council; the settlement of voters' petitions after the regular meeting in mid-2022 and before the regular meeting at the end of 2022, the XI Provincial People's Council; monitoring report and draft resolution on the results of the implementation of Resolution No. 86/2019/NQ-HDND dated December 19, 2019 of the Provincial People's Council on policies for the support linkages in production and consumption of agricultural products in the province from 2020 to 2022; establishing a thematic supervision team on the implementation of the Prime Minister's Decision No. 2348/QD-TTg dated December 5, 2016 on approving the project on building and developing the grassroots health network in the new situation in the province; questioning, answering questions.

Also, the Provincial People's Council will consider and decide on 18 proposals submitted by the Provincial People's Committee in this meeting, including: annulment of Resolution No. 25/2017/NQ-HDND on stipulating the collection rate, the regime of collection, payment and management of residence registration fees and people's identity card issuance fees in the province; Regulations on the allocation of funds to ensure the construction of legal documents in the province (replacing Resolution No. 38/2017/NQ-HDND); Local adjustment of the planning of 3 forest types in Binh Thuan province, period 2016 - 2025; Approving the adjustment of investment undertaking decision for the project Song Mong reservoir canal system completion, Ham Thuan Nam district... In addition, the Provincial People's Council will also spend time on exercising the right of supervision through questioning and answering questions from the provincial People's Council's delegates to the heads of relevant departments and agencies.
