(binhthuan.gov.vn) In response to the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 with the theme "Binh Thuan - Green Tourism Comes Together"; at the same time, to celebrate the 48^th anniversary of the liberation of Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2023) and the 48^th anniversary of the liberation of the South and reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2023). Phan Thiet City People's Committee has issued a plan to organize the Bicycle Race Phan Thiet Open 2023 - Responding to the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 with the theme "Binh Thuan - Green Tourism Comes Together".

Accordingly, the Race will take place at 06:30 on April 23, 2023. Participants are members of the Binh Thuan Sports Bicycle Federation, members of the Bicycle Clubs and bicycle enthusiasts in the city; bicycle clubs of departments, agencies, companies, enterprises in the province; athletes of the Bicycle Clubs of the provinces and cities invited by the Organizing Committee.

Bicycle participating in the competition is a road racing bike (road bike), it is not allowed to use timed racing bike, not to use the handlebar/rest of the timed racing bike mounted on the competition bike.

In the men's contest, the distance is 65 km, divided into 2 age groups: from 18 to 40 years old (born between 2005 and 1983); from 41 to 55 years old (born between 1982 and 1968). In the women's contest, the distant is 25km, there is only one age group from 18 to 50 years old (born between 2005 and 1973).

The venue to hold the Opening Ceremony, start (parade), finish, awarding ceremony will be at Vo Van Kiet Park, Vo Van Kiet street, Phan Thiet city.

- Women's parade and track route: Starting point (turn left) → Nguyen Gia Tu street (turn left) → Hung Vuong street → Official start (near Lotte Mart roundabout) Hung Vuong street (turn left) → Ton That Tung street (turn left) → Vo Van Kiet street (5 closed laps) → finish line (in front of Vo Van Kiet Park).

- Men’s parade route: Starting point (Vo Van Kiet street) → Vo Van Kiet roundabout - Tran Hung Dao street (turn left) Hung Vuong street → Lotte Mart roundabout (starting point).

- Men’s track route: Starting point (official) from Hung Vuong street (near Lotte Mart roundabout) → cross Hung Vuong bridge → Nguyen Thong street → Nguyen Dinh Chieu street → Huynh Thuc Khang street (turn left) → Huynh Tan Phat Street (turn left) → Nguyen Huu Tho Street (turn left) → Vo Nguyen Giap Street → Opposite to Wine Castle, Phan Thiet (turn left) → Vo Nguyen Giap Street → Crossroads of Vo Nguyen Giap – Ho Quang Canh (turn left) back to Vo Nguyen Giap street → Nguyen Thong street → Hung Vuong street (turn right) → Ton That Tung street (turn left) → Vo Van Kiet street (to the finish line).

The Bicycle Race Phan Thiet Open 2023 - Responding to the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 with the theme "Binh Thuan - Green Tourism Comes Together" also aims to promote the implementation of the movement "All people doing exercise following Uncle Ho's example" and the regular exercise and sports movement among all classes of people.
