The Brahmin Cham people is entitled to Kate holiday from 04/10 to the end of 06/10/2021

to tradition, the Brahmin Cham ethnic group in the province will begin to
celebrate the Kate New Year 2021 from 05/10/2021 (on August 29, the year of the
New Ox).
In order to
facilitate the celebration of the Kate New Year of the Brahmin Cham people in
the context that the situation of the Covid-19 epidemic in the province is
controlled; the Chairman of the PPC has just requested the People's Committees
of districts, town and city with the Brahmin Cham people as compatriots,
officials, soldiers, civil servants, public employees, workers, students, and
pupils are living, working and studying... to create favorable conditions for
the Cham people's Kate New Year 2021 to be reunited, joyful, healthy, safe,
thrifty, and promoting the good tradition and culture of the nation; at the
same time, encouraging and guiding the people to enjoy Tet in the context of
strictly implementing measures for Covid-19 prevention and control; actively
participating in the implementation of local solutions to stabilize life, to develop
production, to maintain political security, social order and safety, to contribute
together with other ethnic groups in the province successfully fulfilling the
tasks and targets of the socio-economic development plan in 2021.
Chairman of the PPC
requests the Department of Information and Communications, Department of
Culture, Sports and Tourism, Binh Thuan Newspaper, Provincial Radio and
Television Station to coordinate with the Committee for Ethnic Minorities to
prepare a plan for propagating and introducing Tet Kate; organizing, informing,
and reporting the cultural and artistic activities to serve the Brahmin Cham
ethnic people in the province in association with promoting the propaganda to
people the preventive measures in fighting against Covid-19 epidemic on the
local mass media.
In addition,
proposing the Provincial Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front, provincial
unions, agencies and units under the provincial People's Committee, as their
assigned functions and tasks, to prepare plans for coordinating and supporting
localities with the Brahmin Cham people to organize the practical activities on
the occasion of Kate New Year 2021.

Kate New Year holiday of cadres, soldiers, civil servants, public employees,
workers, students, pupils of the Brahmin Cham people in the province is 03
days: From 04/10 to the end of 06/10/ 2021.
