The centralized medical isolation period: at least 21 consecutive days

(binhthuan.gov.vn) This is the
regulation of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and
Control stated at the Telegram No. 600 in the evening of 05/5 about the
adjustment of the centralized isolation time, the management time after the end
of the centralized quarantine and tests for prevention of COVID-19.
By this document, the National
Steering Committee requests the People's Committees of provinces and cities to
adjust the centralized isolation period from at least 14 days to at least 21
consecutive days, from the date of entering the quarantine area or at the last
contact with COVID-19 patients; taking samples for testing at least 03 times on
the first day, 14th and 20th day during the centralized isolation. The duration
of health monitoring at home and residence is adjusted from 14 days to 07 days
after the end of centralized isolation. At the same time, taking samples for
testing on the 7th day from the end of centralized isolation.
In addition, the People's Committees
of provinces and cities continue to strictly comply with the Telegram No.
597/CD-BCĐ dated 05/5/2021 of the National Steering Committee on strict
implementation of regulations on centralized isolation and management after the
end of centralized isolation for COVID-19 epidemic prevention./.
