According to the Provincial Cooperative Union, the province has 3,205
cooperative groups, 208 cooperatives and 02 cooperative unions as of December
2022. Of which, there are 189 cooperatives in operation, 19 cooperatives ceased
operation, 01 Union of Cooperatives is operating in moderation and 01 Union of
Cooperatives is inactive pending dissolution. The total number of members of
the Cooperative is 49,095; the number of members of the Union of Cooperatives is
14, and the cooperative group is 125,982 members. The number of regular
employees in the Cooperatives and Unions of Cooperatives is 2,542 people. The
total operating capital of the cooperatives is 3,325 billion VND, the revenue
in 2022 is estimated at 964.7 billion VND.
The People's Credit
Funds have also closely followed the direction of the State Bank to perform
well their assigned tasks, ensuring the People's Credit Fund system in the area
to develop stably; contributing to promote local socio-economic development.
