The first 6 months of 2022: Collective and cooperative economy to develop stably

(binhthuan.gov.vn) According to the provincial Cooperative Alliance,
the province now has 3,096 cooperative groups with 125,969 members, reduced by
39.3% over the same period in 2021. The cooperative groups operate mainly in
credit field, with 2,292 groups, accounting for 73.3%, the rest are operating
in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fishery and salt production with 834
groups, accounting for 26.7%.
There are 203 cooperatives
with 48,533 members in the whole province, reduced by 0.97% over the same
period last year. In which, there are 181 cooperatives in operation, 22
cooperatives that have shut down and temporarily ceased operation, the total
operating capital is 3,390.8 billion VND, revenue in the first 6 months is 78.9
billion VND. In which, revenue in the agricultural sector reaches 13.9 billion
VND; the fisheries sector reaches 6.4 billion VND; the transportation sector
reaches about 27.4 billion VND; the field of commerce and services has a
turnover of nearly 3.0 billion VND; industry field and handicrafts reach 800
million VND; in the field of People's Credit Fund, revenue reaches 26.3 billion
VND; construction sector reaches 1.2 billion VND.
It can be said that
the collective and cooperative economies in the province have developed stably
in recent years. The use of capital at People's Credit Funds is effective and
safe, timely meeting the capital needs of members to develop production, and increase
incomes for members and people.
