Binh Thuan Hydro-meteorological Station has just forecast that the heat will
continue to occur in the districts of Bac Binh, Ham Thuan Bac, Ham Thuan Nam,
Tanh Linh and Phan Thiet city and is likely to gradually decrease after May 3.
Specifically, in
the past 24 hours, the heat continued to occur in the districts of Bac Binh,
Ham Thuan Bac, Ham Thuan Nam, Tanh Linh and Phan Thiet city with common maximum
temperatures ranging from 35.0 - 37.60C, the maximum temperature
yesterday (May 2) at Hong Liem Automatic Meteorological Station was: 36.30C,
La Ngau: 37.60C; Phan Thiet Meteorological Station: 35.30C,
the lowest relative humidity was from 35 - 50%.

Station predicts that the areas of Bac Binh, Ham Thuan Bac, Ham Thuan Nam, Tanh
Linh and Phan Thiet city will continue to experience hot weather, with the
highest common temperature ranging from 35.0 - 37.00C. The lowest
humidity during the day is 35 - 50%, the time with temperature above 35.00C
occurs from 11 am to 02 pm. The heat is likely to gradually decrease after May
3.
Due to the effects
of heat combined with low humidity in the air, there is a high risk of
explosions and fires in residential areas due to increased demand for
electricity and high risk of forest fires. In addition, heat can also cause
dehydration, exhaustion, and heat stroke to the human body when exposed to high
temperatures for a long time.
