The Owner of Homestay Pho Da being sanctioned for violation of regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control
(binhthuan.gov.vn) The
People's Committee of La Gi town has just issued a sanction decision on
administrative violation against Mr. N.V.S (Owner of Homestay Pho Da) for
failing to take measures for prevention and control of infectious diseases as
requested by the authorized agencies.
Accordingly, based on
the provisions at Clause 2, Article 14, Decree No. 117/2020/ND-CP dated
28/9/2020 of the Government, Mr. N.V.S was fined VND 7,500,000. At the same
time, the Police of Binh Tan ward also fined Mr. N.V.S an amount of VND
1,500,000 for failing to register the residence of visitors as prescribed by
laws.
Previously, on
22/5/2021, Mr. H.D.B (born in 1994, permanent resident at 24 Le Loi Street,
Quarter 1, Phuoc Hoi Ward, La Gi Town, Binh Thuan) and Ms. N.H.A.T (born in
2002, permanent resident at 434/76/105 Nguyen Van Chieu Street, Ward 9, Go Vap
District, Ho Chi Minh City), from Ward 9, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City,
went to Homestay Pho Da at Nguyen Trai Street, Quarter 1, Binh Tan Ward, La Gi
Town, Binh Thuan Province.
During the period
from 22/5/2021 to 03/6/2021, these two people did not voluntarily declare their
health and take measures for COVID-19 prevention and control as prescribed. On
04/6/2021, these people showed signs of fever, so they were taken to isolation
zone and tested for SARS-CoV-2 virus with negative results.
By this behavior,
pursuant to Decree No. 117/2020/ND-CP dated 28/9/2020 of the Government on
sanctioning of administrative violations in the field of health. The People's
Committee of Binh Tan ward, La Gi town has issued a sanctioning notice on
administrative violations against Mr. H.D.B and Ms. N.H.A.T for "violating
regulations on measures for COVID-19 prevention and control"./.
