The program “Ship of youth – sharing with the far island” to relay Phu Quy in fighting the epidemic

the afternoon of November 27, 2021, the Standing Committee of the Provincial
Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Federation, and the Provincial Pionners Council
organized the program "Ship of Youth - Sharing with the Far Island"
to support and join hands to help Phu Quy island district to quickly repel the
epidemic, getting back to the green area, and bringing peaceful life to local
people.
As of November 26,
the whole Phu Quy district has 291 cases of COVID-19. Due to the island
district still has many difficulties in epidemic prevention and control, the
Provincial Center for Disease Control, the Department of Health, the Provincial
Border Guard Command and many units have supported human resources and medical
supplies... to relay Phu Quy soon to control the epidemic.
At the program, more
than 30,000 medical face masks; 1,000 liters of alcohol and hand sanitizer; 500
protective suits; 3.5 tons of rice; noodles, rice paper, vegetables... were
loaded onto a transport ship to be promptly sent to the island district. All
medical supplies and goods mentioned above were mobilized by the Provincial
Youth Union from the cooperation and support of agencies, units and individuals
inside and outside the province. In addition, the Standing Committee of the
Provincial Youth Union has supported 10 million VND of fuel expenses for the
Green Shipper Team of the District Youth Union to serve people for their peace
of mind staying at home to prevent the epidemic. The total fund of the program
is 220,000,000 VND./.
