The Provincial Social Security urgently to support employees and employers facing difficulties due to COVID-19

Social Security is urgently implementing support policies to people and
businesses affected by COVID-19 according to Resolution no 68/NQ-CP dated 01/72021
of the Government and Decision no23/2021/QD-TTg dated 07/07/2021 of the Prime
Minister.
Over the past time, the provincial
Social Security has issued the dispatch providing professional guidance on a
number of regulations to implement the support policies to employees and
employers, and sent to the agencies under the provincial Social Security and
the employers in the province to implement Resolution no 68/NQ-CP of the
Government, Decision no 23/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on the policies to
support employees and employers facing difficulties due to the COVID-19.
According to data provided by the
provincial Social Security, at the end of 07/2021, the provincial Social
Security has decided to suspend payment to the retirement and survivorship fund
for 03 enterprises, with 140 employees for a period of 06 months, with amount
of 901 million dong. At the same time, reducing the contribution rate to the
funds of occupational accident and disease insurance, and sending Notices to
3,188 units subjected to the reduction of contribution rate, with 86,400
employees subjected to the reduction of contribution rate, with the total
amount (provisional) being reduced for 12 months (from 01/7/2021 to 30/6/2022)
is 27,945 million VND./.
