The Provincial Wind and Solar Power Association will accompany its members

(binhthuan.gov.vn) According to the Association of Wind and Solar
Power of Binh Thuan Province, currently in the province, there are 55 wind
power and solar power projects, with a total capacity of about 2,170 MW,
approved for survey and research, and granted the Decision on investment
undertakings by the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province.
In which, there are
18 projects belonged to members of the Wind and Solar Power Association that
have registered for investment in Binh Thuan province, with a total capacity of
490.4 MW, including 14 wind power projects with a total capacity of 349 ,6 MW;
04 solar power projects, total capacity of 140.8 MW.
Up to now, there are
10 projects that have been granted investment undertaking decisions by Binh
Thuan Provincial People's Committee, completed the construction and put into
operation, with a total capacity of 320.4 MW, including 06 wind power projects,
total capacity of 179.6 MW; 04 solar power projects, total capacity of 140.8
MW. There are 04 projects that have been granted investment undertaking
decisions by Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, under construction and
not yet going into construction, with a total capacity of 85 MW, including 01
wind power project under construction with a capacity of 20 MW; 03 wind power
projects have not yet gone into construction, with a total capacity of 55 MW.
There are 04 wind power projects, with a total capacity of 85 MW, which have
been completed and are completing procedures, but have not yet been granted
investment undertaking decisions.
In the coming time,
the Provincial Wind and Solar Power Association will coordinate with
departments, agencies and localities to remove difficulties and obstacles of
members in the activities of business, investment, development and operation to
exploit wind power and solar power projects in the province.
