The rate of vaccination against COVID-19 is increasing

Over the past time, the Provincial People's Committee has actively urged and
directed localities to strengthen COVID-19 vaccination and implement many
solutions for communication, thereby the vaccination results have had positive
changes.
Recently, Binh Thuan
province has implemented many drastic solutions in directing COVID-19
vaccination which have achieved certain results. In the whole province,
injections have been organized at health stations, medical centers and mobile
injection points. As a result, the coverage of COVID-19 vaccination for people
in the province has had positive changes after the implementation of Official
Telegram No. 664/CD-TTg dated July 25, 2022 of the Prime Minister.
According to
statistics, by the end of September 11, 2022: The rate of people over 18 years
old getting the first booster (the 3rd)
shot reached 65.7%; 2nd booster (the 4th) shot reached 91.4%. The rate
of children from 12 to under 18 years of age receiving the first booster (3rd)
shot reached 34.5%. The rate of children from 5 to under 12 years old who
received the first dose was 74.9%, and the second dose was 42.3%.
In order to speed up
the progress of COVID-19 vaccination, the Provincial People's Committee will
review and further accelerate the rate of COVID-19 vaccination, especially the
3rd and 4th shot for each group which focus on high-risk group; at the same
time, strengthen propaganda and encourage people to take the vaccination (via
mobile phone messages) according to the guidance of the health sector. It will
also review the vaccination plan in the last 4 months of 2022 and prepares plan
for 2023.
