Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) - Nguyen Minh chaired the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the PPC - Nguyen Minh assessed: up to now, the epidemic situation in the whole province has been basically controlled. The number of F0 cases in the community, the isolation areas has begun to decrease. This is a very important basis for the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control to develop a plan to ease the social distancing measure towards the reopening.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, Vice Chairman of the PPC - Nguyen Minh requested the localities to review and fully implement the tasks and directions clearly stated by the PPC in Dispatch No. 3460/UBND-KGVXNV dated 18/9/2021 on strengthening testing and measures for COVID-19 prevent and control. Expeditiously implementing the screening tests. For red and orange areas, the test must be performed 3 times. Trying to complete screening tests by September 27, 2021.

According to the report of the Health sector, as of 6pm on 19/9/2021, the whole province has recorded 2,985 cases of COVID-19 (La Gi: 1,881; Phan Thiet: 632; Tanh Linh: 124; Ham Thuan Bac: 114; Tuy Phong: 64; Ham Tan: 48; Ham Thuan Nam: 52; Duc Linh: 42; Bac Binh: 28). Of which: 541 cases are being treated at medical facilities, 2,407 cases have been cured and discharged (La Gi: 1,652, Phan Thiet: 480), 45 deaths (08 deaths in Ho Chi Minh City). Currently, the province is implementing Directive 15/CT-TTg in the whole province.

170,544 people are vaccinated against COVID-19, of which 110,020 people received the first dose; 60,524 people received the second dose./.
