The province's trade situation in the first 10 months of 2023 has a relatively
stable growth rate. The supply of goods basically meets the consumer demand,
commodity price does not fluctuate significantly, and the market is relatively
stable.
According
to the Provincial Statistics Office, total retail sales of goods and consumer
service revenue in October is estimated at 7,783.9 billion VND, up by 1.31%
over the previous month and by 12.17% over the same period last year, in which
retail revenue of goods is estimated to reach 5,202.7 billion VND, by 1.56%
over the previous month and up by 7.93% over the same period last year (Some
key product groups: food and foodstuff reached 2,558.8 billion VND, up by 1.65%
over the previous month and by 4.78% over the same period last year; garment
group reached 223.9 billion VND, up by 1.54% over the previous month and by
9.93% over the same period last year; the group of items, culture, education
reached 58.9 billion VND, up by 1.65% over the previous month by 7.75 % over
the same period last year; wood and construction materials group reached 318.5
billion VND, up by 1.51% over the previous month and by 10.69% over the same
period last year; other goods group reached 259 1 billion VND, up by 1.58% over
the previous month and by 13.03% over the same period last year). Revenue from
service industries is estimated at 2,581.1 billion VND, up by 0.97% over the
previous month and by 21.82% over the same period last year. Business
establishments in service industries increased their activities to serve local
people and tourists, especially on weekends. It is estimated that entertainment
revenue reach 598.6 billion VND, up by 1.87% over the previous month and by
53.33% over the same period last year. Personal and family service activities
and other service activities continued to meet the needs of the people,
especially event and wedding services...
Cumulatively
for the first 10 months of 2023, the retail situation of goods on the market is
relatively stable, promptly meet people's needs, especially during holidays and
weekends. Business operates smoothly, there is not any market disruption,
product groups grew steadily and increased compared to the same period last
year. It is estimated that retail revenue of goods and revenue from service
industries reach 76,067.3 billion VND, up by 26.89% over the same period last
year, of which retail revenue of goods reach 48,917.9 billion VND, up by 16,23%
over the same period last year (food products group reached 23,851.4 billion
VND, up by 14.88% over the same period last year; household appliances group
reached 4,348.2 billion VND, increased by 18.63% over the same period last year
and other goods group reached 2,444.1 billion VND, up by 19.57% over the same
period last year); Service industry revenue is estimated at 27,149.3 billion
VND, up by 52.02% over the same period last year.
Consumer
price index (CPI) in October decreased by 0.06% compared to the previous month,
up by 2.48% compared to the same period last year and by 2.08% compared to
December last year, average CPI of the first 10 months in 2023 increased by
3.05% compared to the same period last year due to the decrease in domestic
gasoline prices following world prices, and the decrease in prices of some food
items due to the harvest season. Among the 11 main groups of consumer goods and
services compared to the previous month, 09 groups increased in price:
Household equipment and appliances by 0.31%; Food and beverage services by
0.16%; Culture, entertainment and tourism by 0.11%; Other goods and services by
0.06%; Garments, hats and shoes by 0.03%; Medicines and medical services by
0.03%; Housing, electricity, water, fuel and construction materials by 0.02%;
Post and telecommunications by 0.01%; Education by 0.01%. There are 02 groups decreased
in price: Transportation by 1.64%; Drinks and cigarettes by 0.03%./.
