The working delegation of the Consulate General of Korea visited Binh Thuan province

(binhthuan.gov.vn) On the morning of November 29, at the Provincial People's Committee, the working delegation of the Consulate General of Korea led by Mr. Jung Yeong Sik - Deputy Consul visited and worked on ensuring safety for Korean tourists in Binh Thuan. Welcoming and working with the delegation, there were Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai Tung - Deputy Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office; Representatives of leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Health, and Provincial Public Security.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai Tung - Deputy Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office said: Tourism is one of the three pillars of socio-economic development of the province. Accordingly, Binh Thuan always puts the safety of tourists first, including Korean tourists. In the first 10 months of 2023, it is estimated to welcome 7.3 million visitors to Binh Thuan (up by 61% over the same period); of which, number of international visitors reached nearly 212,000 (an increase of 3.48 times over the same period). Number of Korean visitors reached nearly 60,000 arrivals, which is the largest number of visitors to Binh Thuan among the total number of international visitors.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Consul - Jung Yeong Sik
highly appreciated the safety activities for Korean tourists in Binh Thuan in
recent times. In the coming time, the Deputy Consul hopes that Binh Thuan will
continue to further strengthen the work of ensuring safety for tourists in the
province, including Korean tourists, so that Binh Thuan will always be a destination
trusted by Korean tourists to visit, relax and experience.
