Thematic training on communication for trade union officials

In June 16-17, nearly 100 full-time trade union officials from the Provincial
Labor Confederation, Binh Thuan Economic and Technical Intermediate School, the
immediate superior and grassroots trade unions participated in training on
communication of trade unions, and representative organizations of employees at
enterprises as prescribed by the Labor Code 2019; methods to improve the
competitiveness of Vietnamese trade unions compared to other representative
workers' organizations.
Participating in this
training course, trade union officials and members were taught and guided on
relevant contents about the establishment of a representative organization of
employees at the grassroots level, the charter of the representative
organization and the prohibited acts, rights and obligations of the leadership
of the representative organization of employees at the grassroots; skills on negotiation
and signing collective labor agreements. In addition, trade union officials were
also guided on how to build, operate and manage Fanpage effectively, how to
exploit, write articles, and publish news, etc. Thereby, equipping sufficient relevant
skills and knowledge for the trade union officials at all levels to promote
their role in representing, taking care of, protecting the legitimate rights
and interests of employees, together with enterprises to build harmonious, stable
and progressive labor relations.
