Timely support a fishing vessel with 1 worker to Truong Sa island for emergency

According to the Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention, Search
and Rescue, at 15:00 on April 18, the fishing vessel BTh 99197 TS, with 725 CV
capacity, practiced in logistics. The owner of the vessel is Mr. Dinh Phong
(Tam Thanh commune, Phu Quy district). While operating in the area of Da Lat
island, Truong Sa archipelago, worker Do Van Hai (SN 1980) of fishing vessel
BTh 99197 TS had a work accident.
The
reason was that the towline was broken and splashed on the victim. After that,
he was given first aid by the military medical officer of Da Lat Island and
transferred to the Truong Sa Island Infirmary for treatment. Around 5:00 p.m.
on the same day, the fishing vessel BTh 99502 TS assisted in bringing the
victim to the Truong Sa Island Infirmary for treatment.
Currently,
the Provincial Border Guard Command is continuing to monitor and verify the
information. At the same time, directing and notifying the Phu Quy CKC Border
Guard Station for timely assistance if the vessel owner BTH 99197 TS and the
victim when there is a request for rescue. The Provincial Steering Committee
for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, Search and Rescue has also
requested Phu Quy District to check information and coordinate with the Phu Quy
CKC Border Guard Station to timely support the owner of the fishing vessel BTh
99197 TS and the victim.
