To balance and ensure water source in 2022

the past time, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has closely
cooperated with Binh Thuan Water Resource Exploitation Limited Company, Da Nhim
- Ham Thuan - Da Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company, Dai Ninh Hydropower Company,
People's Committees of districts, towns and cities in regulating and
distributing water sources from the irrigation systems and Ham Thuan and Dai
Ninh hydropower plants, so the water source for irrigation and hydroelectricity
has ensure sufficient supply of raw water for urban water plants, concentrated
water supply works in rural areas, for livestock, aquaculture, and perennial crops
and seasonal crops in 2021 as planed. Up to now, the entire area of the 2021
crop has been irrigated. Currently, the Agriculture and Rural Development
sector is implementing solutions to be proactive in preventing droughts and
water shortages, ensuring water sources for people's living, winter-spring
production in 2021 - 2022 and the following seasons in 2022, in which priority
is given to domestic water in the dry season 2022.
According to the Provincial Water
Resource Exploitation Company Limited, in the 2021 crop season, the weather was
favorable with rains, so it supplied enough water sources for irrigation. Seasonal
irrigation results met and exceeded the set plan. To promote the results of the
Season, the provincial Water Resource Exploitation Limited Company has set up
plan on domestic water supply in the dry season and for production in the
Winter-Spring crop 2021 - 2022.
