In 2023, Binh Thuan has the honor to be the host of the Visit Vietnam Year with the theme "Binh Thuan - Green Tourism Comes Together". The Opening Ceremony of the Visit Vietnam 2023 "Binh Thuan – Green Tourism Comes Together" will be held at 19:30 on March 25, 2023 (Saturday) at NovaWorld Phan Thiet, Tien Thanh commune, Phan Thiet city. Right from the beginning of 2023, Binh Thuan province has organized many exciting and attractive activities to prepare for the national tourism year.

The well-organized national tourism year, with focusing on the Opening Ceremony, will contribute to promote, recover and develop the tourism industry of the whole country in general and Binh Thuan in particular after the heavy impact of the COVID-19; strongly attracting tourists as well as domestic and international investors.

Along with the Opening Ceremony of the 2023 Visit Vietnam Year "Binh Thuan - Green Tourism Comes Together", there will be more than 200 events and activities taking place throughout 2023. These activities will contribute to open a new stage in tourism cooperation with other countries, connecting with tourism businesses, promoting the expansion of tourist markets in ASEAN, Asia and around the world.

In order to contribute to the national tourism year, especially the Opening Ceremony, which has a far-reaching effect on all classes of people, tourists and international friends, a true highlight of tourism in Vietnam, Binh Thuan has now mobilized social resources, focusing on ensuring political security, social order and safety, food hygiene and safety, and environmental sanitation.

Currently, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has completed the design of the identifier of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 and widely deployed to agencies, units, businesses, localities inside and outside the province using the logo, identifier of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 "Binh Thuan – Green Tourism Comes Together". The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has also provided information to press agencies about the activities of the national tourism year, carrying out propaganda, advertise and promotion visually by billboards, banners, leaflets; instructing localities, units to organize propaganda for the Opening Ceremony of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023...

Lately, at the beginning of February 2023, representatives of leaders of Binh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism joined with the General Department of Tourism to participate in the TRAVEX 2023 International Tourism Fair in Indonesia to introduce the advantages of geographical location, climate, landscapes, and diverse and abundant natural resources; cultural and historical values of Binh Thuan. In particular, Mui Ne is considered as the highlight of Binh Thuan tourism, one of the most beautiful natural beaches in Vietnam, and known as the "resort kingdom".

The Deputy Director of Binh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - Nguyen Lan Ngoc said: With the theme of "Binh Thuan - Green Tourism Comes Together", Binh Thuan will aim to build green tourism products to exploit the strengths, advantages and potentials of forests, mountains, lakes, waterfalls, beaches... At the same time, it will promote close links with neighboring provinces and cities to contribute to spread and organize successfully the Visit Vietnam Year 2023.

In addition, the Department of Information and Communications has guided press agencies in the province to disseminate information, introduce the Opening Ceremony and activities within the framework of the Opening Ceremony, carry out propaganda on various mass media channels. The Department of Information and Communications has also cooperated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to build the website of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 "Binh Thuan - Green Tourism Comes Together" at: http://hoituxanh.binhthuan.gov.vn. In particular, in order to ensure smooth communication, it will provide free wifi during the Opening Ceremony, and make communication and promotion via SMS system...

The Opening Ceremony of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television Station VTV and Binh Thuan Radio and Television Station with a duration of 85 minutes including: Music, Opening speech of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Head of the Organizing Committee of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023; speeches of leaders of the Party and State; art performances; 15-minute low-range fireworks.
