Training Conference on knowledge and skills on drug prevention and control for Youth Union officials in 2022

September 29, the Standing Board of the Provincial Youth Union held a training
conference on knowledge and skills on drug prevention and control for the Youth
Union officials in 2022.
At the conference,
Lieutenant Colonel Le Thanh Thy - Head of the Drug Crime Investigation Police
Division, Binh Thuan Provincial Public Security, introduced the basic contents
of the Law on Drug Prevention and Control and how to recognize new drug
preparations; methods and tricks to entice teenagers into drug abuse by drug
trafficking criminal networks. In addition, the Union's officials were also
informed on solutions in mobilizing the masses to detect and denounce illegal
drug trafficking and human trafficking crimes; mobilizing families of drug
addicts to send their children to concentrated detoxification.
At the training
session, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union also wished that
key Union officials at all levels should create healthy habits and lifestyles
for themselves; sharing with people around and not discriminating against
people who used to be a drug addict, but helping them soon to reintegrate into
the community to contribute to reduce social evils in the province.
