Urgent implementation of drastic and synchronous solutions for avian flu prevention and control in the province

(binhthuan.gov.vn) The Chairman of the Provincial People's
Committee has just issued a (urgent) dispatch assigning the Department of
Agriculture and Rural Development to chair over, and coordinate with relevant
departments and agencies and the People's Committees of districts, towns and
cities to urgently, drastically and synchronously implement solutions to
control and prevent Avian Influenza A/H5N8 and other highly pathogenic strains
of Avian Influenza virus in accordance with the provisions of the Law on
Veterinary Medicine; Directive documents of the Prime Minister at Decision no.
172/QD-TTg dated 13/9/2019, Dispatch no. 163/CD-TTg dated 08/2/2021; Dispatch no.
4154/CD-BNN-TY dated 02/7/2021 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural
Development; Decision no. 870/QD-UBND dated 08/4/2019 of the Provincial
People's Committee on the Plan for Prevention and Control of Avian Influenza in
Binh Thuan Province for the period of 2019-2025 and Decision no. 2883/QD-UBND
dated 23/11/2020 on the Plan for prevention and control of terrestrial animal
diseases in 2021 in Binh Thuan province; mobilizing local resources for
effective prevention and control of avian flu.
The Chairman of the
Provincial People's Committee also assigned the People's Committees of
districts, cities and towns to urgently review and complete the Steering
Committees for the prevention and control of animal diseases at all levels to
deploy the most effective prevention and control of avian influenza; not be
subjective nor neglected in diseases prevention and control; it is needed to
organize the standing forces, and prepare human resources, materials and funds
ready to take the initiative in epidemic prevention and control in all
situations whenever it occurs, etc.
