Urgently continue to implement measures to prevent and control COVID-19 in the province

epidemic prevention and control in the past time and the
instruction of
the Provincial Standing Party Committee in Announcement No. 1067/TB-VPTU dated July 28, 2020, the Provincial People's
Committee has just issued an Official Dispatch (Urgent) requesting the Department of Health
to fully implement the guidelines of the National Steering Committee on
COVID-19 prevention and control at the Official Letter No. 1158/CD- BCĐQG dated 27/7/2020 on urgently
promoting measures to prevent and control COVID-19 infection in medical
examination and treatment facilities; strengthening screening measures,
appointing early SARS-CoV-2 testing for patients, health workers with
suspicious signs, including cases with unclear epidemiological history for
early detection of disease cases and timely isolation. Chairing and coordinating with the
Department of Finance and other relevant departments and agencies in reviewing, updating,
advising and adjusting policies on the officials, civil servants, public employees on the duty
of Covid-19 prevention
and control. Organizing the review and examination of medical equipment and
supplies in service of the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 (medical masks,
medial
protective clothing, medicines, disinfectant water ...) so that not to cause scarcity.
The
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requires the People's
Committees of districts, towns and cities to supervise and manage strictly the
citizens who have travelled to the provinces with cases of infected (according to Urgent Announcements No. 15, 16, 17 and 18 of the
Ministry of Health) after returning to the locality, must make medical declaration, and take compulsory medical quarantine at home as prescribed. When
there are signs of fever, cough, shortness of breath ... need to go to the
nearest medical facility for examination and treatment.
Reportedly,
the COVID-19 epidemic
is spreading out complicatedly, there have been many cases of community-based infections
in Da Nang city and some provinces and cities nationwide, but have not identified sources of
infection with the risk of infection to many localities throughout the country.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested members of the Provincial Steering Committee on COVID-19 prevention and
control and localities based on their assigned functions and tasks to actively
implement the provisions of the above document, contributing to the effective
implementation of COVID-19 prevention and control in the province./.
