Vaccination for children: The best solution to protect children against COVID-19

COVID-19. In the current period, the vaccination according to age, according to
the appropriate route in which children from 5 to under 12 years old is
considered as a complete piece to create herd immunity.
In Binh Thuan, the
work of COVID-19 vaccination for children and vulnerable groups has been
strengthened. However, in order to be effective, it is not only the efforts of
the functional departments.
Vaccination campaign
for children from 5 to under 12 years old in Binh Thuan has been implemented
from the end of April 2022, this is the smallest group in the current
vaccination schedule, their awareness is not yet complete. Therefore, in order
to ensure smoothness during the implementation of the campaign, and to meet the
requirements of the distance between the two basic injections as well as the
right subjects, gradually lowering by age group requires the close coordination
between schools and families.
Health experts at
home and abroad have said that epidemic is always present, and the risk of
infection and disease can still occur, especially for those who have not been
vaccinated or are not fully vaccinated, regardless of ages. Therefore, in order
to create conditions for children to receive adequate and timely vaccination is
a necessary measure to help children to increase their protection and reduce
the possibility of disease; it also limits the risk of transmission between
generations in a family, school and social community with the goal of living
safely with the epidemic./.
