Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee met Vinh Tan International Port Joint Stock Company

On the afternoon of April 29, 2022, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's
Committee Nguyen Van Phong chaired a meeting on adjustment of investment undertaking
of Vinh Tan International Port project in Vinh Tan commune, Tuy Phong district.
Attending the meeting, there were leaders of relevant Departments, agencies,
and localities.

International Port Joint Stock Company was granted the first investment
certificate by the Provincial People's Committee on March 24, 2015 to implement
the Vinh Tan General Port project in Vinh Tan commune, Tuy Phong district.
During the implementation of the project, Vinh Tan International Port Joint
Stock Company proposed to adjust the project 04 times due to the actual
situation and development orientation of the locality. In 2016, the project
completed the investment and put into operation the 3,000 DWT Wharf; completed
and put into operation the 30,000 DWT Wharf in 2019.
At the meeting, the participants
basically agreed for Vinh Tan International Port Joint Stock Company to expand
the scale of project at Vinh Tan International Port.

Speaking at the
meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong
said that the expansion of Vinh Tan International Port currently is in line
with the policy and orientation of socio-economic development for the Northern area
of the province. Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee welcomed Vinh
Tan International Port Joint Stock Company's determination to expand the
project.
The Vice Chairman of
the PPC requested the relevant departments, agencies and Tuy Phong District People's
Committee to review the legal documents and send opinions regarding on the
adjustment of investment undertaking to expand the project of Vinh Tan
International Port Joint Stock Company to the Department of Planning and
Investment to summarize and submit to the Provincial People's Committee for
consideration and settlement in accordance with the order and provisions of the
law.
