Visit and encourage fishermen at sea during the Lunar New Year 2024

In order to promptly encourage the spirit of households with fishermen
participating in exploiting seafood as well as protecting the sovereignty and
security of the Fatherland's seas and islands during the Lunar New Year 2024, the
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai has assigned
the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to coordinate with relevant
departments, agencies and People's Committees of coastal districts, towns and
cities to monitor the activities of fishing vessels and encourage fishermen
producing at sea during the Lunar New Year 2024.
Accordingly,
the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development shall coordinate with
relevant departments, agencies and coastal districts, towns and cities to
continue closely monitoring weather developments and the situation of seafood
exploitation by fishermen in the seas to promptly support them with peace of
mind in safe and effective production. Organizing the visits to send mental and
material encouragement to fishermen households in difficult circumstances and
fishermen participating in seafood exploitation during the Lunar New Year 2024.
Coordinating
with relevant agencies and organizations to organize the opening ceremony at
the beginning of the year and the whale worship after Tet; organize timely
propaganda, reflection and praise for fishermen who exploit seafood effectively
during the Lunar New Year. At the same time, list the fishing vessels and
fishermen participating in the sea to exploit seafood during and after the
Lunar New Year 2024 under the direction of the Ministry of Agriculture and
Rural Development.
