Water regulation on Song Mong Lake

In the past few days, the upstream area of Song Mong Lake has rained. As of
7:00 a.m. on 12/9/2022, the water level of Song Mong Lake is at +76.00 m, 0.2 m
higher than the normal level (+75.80 m).
As forecasted by the
National Hydro-meteorological Center, in the coming days, Binh Thuan province
will continue to have rain. In order to ensure the safety of the construction,
Binhthuan Water Resources Exploitation Limited Company will regulate the water
of Song Mong Lake specifically as follows: At 08:00 on 13/9/2022, through the
sewer with a flow rate of 02 m3/s. When the water flows freely over the
spillway, the Company will notify the district Steering Committee for Natural
Disaster Prevention and Control, Search and Rescue via phone.
In order to
proactively deal with floods and avoid damages to people in the affected areas,
Binh Thuan Water Resources Exploitation Limited Company requests the People's
Committee of Ham Thuan Nam District to promptly notify the areas and people
along the flood drainage route of Song Mong Lake for preparing proactive safety
plans when water flows through.
