Workshop "Introduction of some effective and appropriate solutions for manholes to prevent odors and insects"

On the morning of April 15, the Union of Science and Technology Associations of
Binh Thuan province held a workshop "Introduction of some effective and
appropriate solutions for manholes to prevent odors and insects".
Speaking at the workshop,
Mr. Luong Thanh Son - President of the Union of Science and Technology
Associations said: In order to limit the existence of some types of manholes
built previously, in the past time, the construction industry and the
provincial authorities have paid attention to creating conditions for the Department
of Construction to study; accordingly, a number of solutions on the anti-odor manhole
have been developed in investment and construction of drainage systems in urban
areas for agencies, organizations and individuals to study for reference and
use in management, design, appraisal, approval and acceptance of the new
construction or renovation of the water collection system in the province.
Also at this workshop,
the representative of SiGen Co., Ltd. introduced an effective anti-odor and anti-insect
(mosquito) manhole model that has been researched and applied.
Thereby, the workshop
clarified the effectiveness of the appropriate and effective solution of the anti-odor
and anti- insect manhole. With this result, in the coming time, depending on
the agencies, units and localities, it is necessary to replicate the model in
the province to meet the requirements of the people.
