Workshop on “Green innovation and development of industrial zones towards green and sustainable growth” in Binh Thuan province

On the morning of August 28, the Department of Science and Technology organized
a workshop on “Green innovation and development of industrial parks towards
green and sustainable growth” in Binh Thuan province. Attending the workshop,
there were representatives of leaders of relevant departments, agencies and
units; and nearly 100 delegates from enterprises in industrial parks,
industrial clusters; production enterprises and cooperatives in the province.
Within
a day, delegates were provided information related to production and business
activities towards green and sustainable growth through 3 main topics: ESG -
Ecological industrial parks and development potential in Binh Thuan Province;
Circular economy and sustainable development strategy for Vietnamese
enterprises - The story of the value chain of Binh Phuoc Xanh Company; Green
transformation, open innovation - Opportunities and challenges for enterprises
in industrial parks in the province.
At
the same time, delegates also participated in discussions with managers,
experts and businesses to share support policies for businesses in industrial
parks, industrial clusters and cooperatives to increase competitiveness, meet
export standards, ensure sustainable development trends and circular economy in
Binh Thuan province.
The
workshop is expected to create opportunities for businesses to be supported and
connected to realize the circular value chain with technology, and promote
green innovation and transformation.
